Wraparound Engagement Desert Outreach (W.E.D.O.)
Wraparound Engagement Desert Outreach (W.E.D.O.) is a collaboration of local agencies working to build trauma-informed community in the Antelope Valley. W.E.D.O. works to provide resources, referrals, and opportunities for two particularly vulnerable populations – Transitional Age Youth, 16-25 years, and justice-involved individuals with a history of trauma. W.E.D.O. also works to reduce stigmas associated with trauma and it’s effects by providing education and training to our community.
Who We Serve
Transitional Age Youth: Young adults aged 16-25 years old who are at risk of, or experiencing, unstable housing and need resources in order to sustain independence.
Justice-Involved Individuals: Adults with a history of incarcerations who have had recent justice involvement and are in need of resources and opportunities to ease re-entry within the community.
