CALM is a nonprofit 501c3 corporation specializing in helping citizens and small businesses negotiate the system before, during, or after the legal process. We’re dedicated to the principle that fairness and justice can be found other than in administrative or government tribunals or in street justice.
Mediation is an informal process allowing the parties themselves to reach their own solutions based on their own individual needs, interests, and capabilities. Agreements can be binding. CALM does not provide legal counsel. We do provide document review and referral.
Our firm specializes in mediating disputes, claims, and conflicts involving what are commonly known in the industry as community matters: landlord-tenant, neighbor-neighbor and consumer-merchant matters, among others.
